Welcome to Norwood Baptist Church!
What to Expect When You Visit Us

I'm New to Norwood Baptist Church

We're so glad you're considering visiting Norwood Baptist Church! Below, you'll find answers to some of the most common questions people have before attending for the first time. If you have any additional questions, feel free to contact us—we'd love to help!

What is it like?

At Norwood Baptist Church, you'll find a Christ-centered, welcoming community committed to glorifying God in all we do. Our worship services are reverent and joyful, focused on the faithful preaching of God's Word, prayer, and singing biblically rich hymns and songs. We aim to worship in spirit and truth, as Scripture commands (John 4:24). Whether you're new to church or have been a believer for years, you'll find a place to grow in your faith and fellowship with others.

What about my kids?

We believe children are a blessing from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and encourage families to worship together. During the service, we provide a nursery for infants and toddlers, as well as age-appropriate classes for children during our Sunday School hour. For older children, we encourage them to join their families in the main worship service, where they can learn and grow alongside the church body. Our goal is to partner with parents in teaching children the truths of God's Word.

Where do I park?

Our parking lots are located on the east and west sides of the building, providing plenty of space for you and your family. There is also designated parking for visitors near the main entrance to make your first visit as easy as possible. Look for signs or greeters who will be happy to direct you.

What do I wear?

You'll find a variety of attire at Norwood Baptist Church, from business casual to more formal. We don't have a dress code—our focus is on the heart of worship, not outward appearance (1 Samuel 16:7). Wear what is comfortable and respectful, and you'll fit right in.

How can I get connected?

We'd love to get to know you! After the service, stop by our welcome table to meet some of our members and learn more about the church. You can also fill out a visitor card so we can follow up with you during the week. Additionally, we offer small groups, Bible studies, and fellowship events throughout the month to help you build relationships and grow in your faith.
